Jute fiber screens are a premium, best of breed room divider option, an attractive variation of traditional japanese rice paper shoji screens, with tightly woven jute fiber panels, instead of rice paper. this is a more substantial screen, with extra cross members at the top and bottom of each panel frame. the panel frames are crafted from tough, lightweight, 100-percent kiln dried sprucewood, instead of cheap rubber wood, using classic japanese joinery and fasteners. great alternative where white rice paper does not make sense and or where an extra durable screen is necessary or where the screen must look equally attractive from front or back, ships in 48 hours professionally packed and fully insured from our massachusetts warehouse, via fed ex, expedited delivery available. note that we also sell a shoji screen stand for $59 that will support this screen flat. search "shoji screen stand" on amazon.com.
